…the home team wins a game in extra innings by 4 runs, although it feels worse than it really is. The bad part is that the Astros had 5 hits in the last 5 innings, including 2 doubles and a triple, and they stranded runners in scoring position in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 13th and couldn’t get a run home.
Including the grand slam, the Cubs had exactly two hits after the 7th inning.
Something else that sucks about tonight’s game is that this pr*ck got the win. Remember him? It always goes back to college football.
Our heroes have hit a rough patch the since Friday. Tomorrow’s game is huge.
